College Gardens

This end-of-terrace 60s house in the heart of Dulwich Village was transformed by remodelling the split-level space on the Upper Ground Floor. A small extension to the rear bay gives an expansive new Living Room that opens on to a decked area; on the upper level a new kitchen alongside the dining area creates the perfect entertaining space for clients, both keen cooks. CBA collaborated with Muchmore Design on the interiors to give a modern take on the mid-century origins of the house.

Charles Barclay Architects designed and project managed our extensive house refurbishment. Charles is a great architect with a real eye for the aesthetic and detail. He is also creative in his use of space.
In addition to drawing up all the plans and handling the planning applications etc, Charles project managed our works from beginning to end. This was a big help, as it was our first big project, and we appreciated someone working for us liaising on the building works. Also, our project largely came in on time and on budget. No mean feat! I highly recommend Charles and his team for any building project.
